I struggle to believe that cam chain tensioners could rust!

Thumbs up

Hi folks. Well got car back yesterday after 3 days in at the dealers. Engine now purrs like a pussy cat! The cam belt tensioners had indeed become rusty. And it's getting more common. I called a shops yesterday evening, and there was another one making the same noise!! He had taken it to his dealer, sandal huddersfield. They diddnt knowwhat it was! Hence the reason why I don't use them anymore! Lloyds at colne. Diagnosed and okay we had to wait for the part due the new ones been on back order, which tells u something, but job sorted. Also new flywheel under warranty. 29k on clock. The best dealer I have used. Takes me an hour and quarter to get there!
