Morning Mini Gurus

Never one to be outdone while I sit here patiently waiting for the new F56 MCS to arrive, SWMBO has thrown an unexpected curve ball into the mix and decided she wants to swap her '10 plate Cooper Convertible for an '11 or '12 plate FJCW.........

Spec wise she wants Midnight black with red roof, sunroof, black wheels and leather interior so far but can anyone give us any pointers as to what we need to look out for mechanically please- Mileage looks to be c.20k I think.

All guidance muchly appreciated...Pics to follow of course

Colour & spec wise sounds very very similar to our FJCW

Our thread on our FJCW may help

If you budget allows, I would try & get the N18 engined FJCW as opposed to the N14. See - Difference Between The New R56 FJCW Engine & The Old

Without teaching you to suck eggs buddy, but it MUST have a chili pack

How about a very well looked after 62 plate FJCW in eclipse grey with red roof black wheels, black headlights and media? Not full leather though.
17000 miles.

I've just traded it in to Halliwell Jones Warrington.

Have to say I am SUPREMELY jealous of SWMBO...!!!

When I ordered the F56 MCS it was a toss up between an R56 BRG with red roof JCW with less than 250 miles on a '13 plate and the new model launch car...

The new F56 JCW needs to be epic when it comes out....

Hope I dont get my arse handed to me on a plate too much at the 1st set off traffic lights
