Default Painted GP2 Diffuser Fitted - 25th May 2014, 10:38 PM

After talking to a few members on the forum I went off and brought myself the GP2 diffuser but I wasn't really happy with it being black plastic as the old diffuser was painted, it felt like I was replacing something that was painted for a bit more black plastic so I asked Sytner Mini Slough to paint it and fit it for me. I think it looks absolutely amazing. Cool idea, on a dark looking car colour coded works well, I was planning on carbon skinning mine when I get on.

Fair enough, think mine looks fine unpainted though IMO. Was super expensive getting mini to paint it?

Wasn't to bad to be honest, the total bill for painting and fitting was 280.

Are there any proven gains with the diffuser? Or is it just cosmetic?

Downforce etc

Exactly Paul, nothing wrong with being different so long as it looks good. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things.

Really like this! Looks so much nicer and as if it actually is part of the car instead of bolt on! I'm tempted to keep mine now and get it painted....
