Which Size are you going with Jack? 15% you can get away without, 17% you will need a new IC. Lohen will most likely confirm this

i was looking at 17%

if i need a IC with the 17% i may go for the 15% as i cant afford for a new IC yet.

You will end up with a 17% people always do I got my IC first so I wasn't tempted by making do with a 15% All going on in 2 weeks REALLY can't wait!!

I would bide your time for a bit and keep an eye out for an IC. Either a GRS or GP one is best, looking between £200-400 from bargain 2nd hand to new

Jack,

If you go for 17% it is suggested to uprate your intercooler, yes.

How will you be using the car: daily drive with a touch extra power, or eventual track car? I think considering the application is important.

You obviously do get the price benefit from the package price, but it's of no detriment to the car to fit the coil pack, plugs and leads early, then the pulley/belt at a later date.

Cheers,
Emma

i use the car everyday. it gets driven hard now and again. what sort of bhp would i be looking at roughly with the 15% pulley and the coil pack, leads and plugs?
Cheers

I suspect a comfortable 190 - 200bhp, perhaps a touch extra with some top grade fuel!

If you want low down torque, you'll want the 17%. If you want a high end screamer, go for the 15%.

To be honest, there is not a massive difference between the two. There are better gains to be had elsewhere than fussing between the two e.g. cam, injectors and tune or manifold, airbox etc.

Forget the coil pack and leads. Unless your current ones are faulty, its just not worth it in my opinion.

So... get a 15% installed at Lohen asap and then save as quickly as you can for an uprated intercooler!! Got my 15% fitted at Lohen and can recommend them for great service.

You'll def want to upgrade the intercooler in the summer though, even with a 15%. Once I installed my scanguage, I really noticed when the engine began to start temp clipping! GRS fitted and never have any problems!
