Default Placed my order today! - 7th March 2014, 03:04 PM

My 2006 R56 MCS has been beginning to cost me at 55000miles. Went to collect it and a big bill to fix an oil leak on the turbo and thought I would ask about the F56 MCS.

Well once I had a cup of coffee in front of me and a brochure it wasn't hard to convince myself to order one for delivery on 1 May or thereabouts.

As I have buckled 3 Flame spokes in 4 months in my R56 I decided to have 16" Victory wheels and normal tyres. I cant afford to keep buying new rims even though I try to avoid the potholes.

Xenons are no longer available so I have gone for LED headlights, fog lights and daytime running lights as I don't want to go back to halogens. Quite pricey though.

Also gone for Media pack XL although not totally sure of everything it does.

Harmon Kardon stereo upgrade; and dual zone, ie separate controls for driver and passenger, auto A/C

Auto dimming and folding mirrors, heated screen, JCW spoiler, storage pack just about complete the order.

Surprised that after 7 years it only comes to about 4k more than my old R56.

Looking forward now to its arrival

Deep blue with Black roof. I really liked the Laser Blue I had before but there is nothing quite the same available so Deep Blue is the nearest

Looks a good colour from the pics I have seen. Ours is going to be all black and should be in production about now hopefully.

I wish my countryman had dual zone vents - I like it cool and the mrs likes it warm lol

Sounds lovely! To get the smaller wheels did you miss off chili pack?

All 4 one...

Yes, but I actually have almost everything in the Chilli pack except velour mats because I want rubber mats, the passenger seat height adjustment as I have never used it on my R56 and the Mini Excitement pack because I could not see it as worth another 105

Have you got yours yet interested to see some pics as really unsure what colour to go for on this model have R56 just now in laser blue but for F56 it's between the deep blue, black or chilli red
