Default Another Mini Connected Question! - 3rd April 2018, 02:56 PM

Hi - just joined and first time on the forum

After too long without a mini, I have just got my a wife a pre-registered 2017 F57 Cooper Convertible. She absolutely loves it and I now also have unlimited brownie points for the future so its hopefully a win win outcome!

The car is fairly stock with also Visual Boost and Mini Connected.

I'm sure this has already been asked many times before but not sure what Mini Connected actually gets me? (the car doesnt have sat nav). I've downloaded the Connected app on her android phone and also my i-phone. On the i-phone I can see some additional apps such as Spotify which could be good but these dont appear on here android phone?

Can anyone advise what useful things Connected can offer and also any tips or ideas.

Thanks in advance!

I think you mean F57 convertable

The connected app is a bit rubbish in my opinion and doesn't do much these days.

But visual boost (which is colour and is a screen) is a must have compared to the basic orange only colour v small display!

Now:F56 MINI Dooper MidnightBlack (Chili, Full White leather, Connected XL Nav, adaptive dampers, heated seats, HUD, Harmon Kardon speakers, black alloys)
Before:F56 MINI Dooper IcedChoc (Chili,VisualBoost,Leather)
Before: R56 MINI Cooper Lightning Blue (Chili, half leather)
Before :R50 MINI One Moonlight Black (Pepper)
+ 2 Audi TT MK2s in between.
