Done a bit of digging on re maps and plug ins, not that knowledgable in all of this though. So many different ways to 'map' don't know exactly what the pro's and con's are regarding what's best for the car, performance, reliability and obviously when it goes in for servicing ect!

Burger Tuning- MINI B38 B46 B48 Stage 1 BETA Tuning- Burgertuning.com

Looks like a US site, plug in, not a map, ships world wide. TBH, think this is just for the Cooper S

Remus Powerizer- Mini 3. Gen. (F55, F56) (2014-...) Cooper S 2.0 192 HP man. Remus Powerizer - RemusUK.com

Again looks like it's just for the Cooper S for now. Another plug in

Race Chip- Chiptuning | Mobile RaceChip Englisch

A plug in for the JCW, 3 choices, 3 different power and torque figures, obviously go for the highest one!

Celtic Tuning- +25% torque with Stage 1 ECU Remap on Mini Cooper S 2.0 Cooper S JCW 228 bhp (2014-now)

Map, adds 56bhp up to 284bhp and 57lb/ft or 77nm, up to 293lb/ft or 397nm

Superchips- http://www.superchips.co.uk/search?m...9&variant=3200

Map, adds 56bhp up to 284bhp and 68lb/ft or 92nm, up to 304lb/ft or 412nm

I do like the idea of a plug in one as it can be removed pretty easily and doesn't require your ECU to be taken out and soldered. Also maybe better than an OBD port map as it can not be 'wiped' clean or traced at a dealer visit.

Any thoughts or views?!! Comments and opinions welcome!

I've seen your thread! The power and torque you've got it running now must be a blast!!

What do you mean they have a few more? A few different maps?

I know all rolling roads are different and some will produce lower numbers and some high. At least you had the before and after so you know your exact gains

Any of them the plug in ecu port and flash it and have thcards ability to unfash?
I just don't want servicing to see it nor remove it.. I want to be able to control if it's on or off... Like I did in my A45

AC Schnitzer

Performance upgrades for MINI F56 petrol from

Ouch!!! 2109.08.

Looks similar to the other 500 plug in boxes.

Mentions it doesn't void the manufactures warranty. Thought these 'plug in boxes' were traceable now. So does that mean the other ones eg the 'race chip ultimate' doesn't void the warranty?!

Manic mini need to hurry up, want to see what they have up their sleeve!
