Yeah the grill fits over the original, was quite surprised the fit was really good and no chrome showing.

I normally change my car every year, I was planning on keeping the M3 a little longer and got a quote for warranty extension which BMW wanted 3500 for a years warranty, the actuators are known to fail and mine never had them replaced, so it was inevitable that they would fail soon.

I wanted to get a F56 JCW before I got the M3 and looked at some and got some quotes, Mini wanted around 370 pcp for a JCW and BMW 400 a month for the M3, so thought I would go for that.

If BMW sold mini in house
with the same incentives and discounts there would be a lot more on the road

How a 2.00 ltr SD clubman is more expensive than 330d estate I'll never begin to understand

Or a 300 bhp vw type R is cheaper than a moderately speced JCW

Default Last of the dechrome - 17th February 2017, 12:22 PM

Ordered and received my gloss black belt line today, fitted it today, last bit of dechrome completed.

Now thinking of either painting my cup spokes black or get some track spoke wheels.

Black gloss front grill - Ebay -99:05 posted chromiumtech uk
Black gloss door handles - Amazon - 58.99 posted - Car Lab
Black gloss petrol cap - Amazon - 28.99 posted - Car Lab
Black gloss beltline - Ebay - 19.99 posted - smps2012

These are the typical mass produced items from probably Taiwan so the fit can be a little hit and miss.

Hope this helps.
