Default New JCW - 5th December 2017, 11:07 AM

I picked this up a few days ago. Mine has the updated engine and a few changes inside. I had planned on fitting the Mini tuning exhaust but unfortunately my dealer has been told to wait until Mini Germany has tested the exhaust on more of the new engine cars.

Love it, the torque is great no matter what gear you are in.

Looks really good

Is this next years model build and if so what changes are there to the existing model?

Yes it has the new engine, as for changes I only know that the exhaust note is deeper and it is meant to easier on petrol.
Inside there is a toggle switch for the drive modes and a new LED fuel gauge.

I had planned on fitting the Mini tuning exhaust but Mini Germany haven`t tested enough new engines so I can`t fit it until they do.

Cheers,
Dave

My dealer told me there was lots of updates but I haven`t been able to find any details. The car is very quick, evn in 5 or 6 gear from a slow speed. I had a 2016 Golf R that was very quick but the JCW feels even faster.

Cheers,
Dave
