Hi all, Iím new on here, thought I would join after picking up a new F60 countryman.
I am think I would like to purchase the picnic bench kit. I assume the price quoted is for the complete kit?
The manual talks about a variable boot floor but my car does not have this just a lip/ledge around that a floor would sit on.
I would also like to purchase the variable floor so wonder if anyone can provide the part number and price. I have looked on realoem but canít see a floor, there is a carpet on the same diagram as the picnic bench!
Thanks.

Welcome to tM. It's best to contact the site sponsor, Cotswold MINI, using the contact details below. All you need to do is provide your reg number or VIN and they will provide a quote with the forum discount. Being my local dealer, the parts team are a very friendly and helpful bunch.

You will need the boot floor, and probably the hinge mechanism that is behind the rear seats. The boot floor has a flap that lifts up and the bench fits to the underside of that flap. The whole floor can also be lifted and hinges / latches in the raised position if required.

Has anybody any idea if it could be retrofitted to a Paceman. Obviously no fixings but wonder if a way to do it.

With flat load boot floor design of the R60 Countryman and the R61 Paceman you should be able to do a retrofit but with the Paceman there could be an issue with the width of the boot opening. It will be best to a drop a line to our site sponsor, Cotswold MINI, to confirm the width before ordering the parts. Looking at the width of the picnic bench in the new F60 it goes along the full width of the wide boot opening which could even mean a tight fit for the older Countryman too.

Good thinking ,looking at that video there is a bit of space at each side so there may just be a chance. Thanks.
