Default Mini r50 - rear break calliper handbreak spring - 4th October 2017, 05:20 PM

I've recently changed my rear break calliper, however, I removed the handbreak spring and now I'm finding it really hard to fit it back on the calliper as the spring is very stiff, any suggestions on how make it easier to refit it??

In this video, it doesn't show him changing the calliper, he's just renewing the break pads. Because he's not renewing his break calliper, he doesn't have to remove the handbreak spring. So I can't see his technique on how to do it so doesn't really help, any other suggestions would be much appriciated!

You need to use a screw driver or equivalent to lever it back into place.
