The big thing to remember is that the JCW engine internals are made from different components to those of the Cooper S. Obviously the brakes are different, and one or two bits of the interior are different. JCW's come with the sports suspension as standard, it's an option on the "S" (no cost I think).

You can have a red roof and mirrors on the JCW, not available on the S.
