Thanks. Didn't clean the interior - couldn't be bothered.

I need to take it to the body shop as there are little scuffs all over it and a couple of little dents. Really the bonnet needs total respray.

Attacked the interior today on the blue car...

Unbelievable amount wiring under there.

Also some strange crap on the Park Lane this morning...

Washed it. Comes up ok.

Needs lowering. I'll fit R56 rear arms and thicker rear ARB I have spare, GP shocks and some get H&R 30mm springs after Xmas. Should sort the handling out. And I'm going to pop my Playmini cat back on it but it'll need a central resonator fitting as I don't want it loud and lairy.

Aaaaah.

Why has my CD multi changer stopped working?! It won't let me select a disc - just says "TR" on the screen. I've taken the cartridge out and the discs are all back in their slots. Popped it back in and still no joy.

Bumholes.

I popped down to London today to pick up a set of GP shocks to go on the PL. Need some springs now and the inclination to fit everything - they are going on along with R56 alloy rear trailing arms (hence why I wanted GP shocks), an SS+ rear anti roll bar, and the stainless Playmini cat back that I shall be removing from the track car. Should finish the car off nicely. If the exhaust is too loud I'll have a resonator fitted in the link pipe, but it shouldn't be bad as I'm only using the stock headers.

Was really naughty today and ordered H&R 30mm springs.

So an alloy trailing arm conversion with GP shocks, and H&R springs is costing me less than £200 total.

Bargain. Should make for a decent handling R50.

Installed electrochromatic rear view mirror on the PL today. Only had to run a live to it from the back of the fuse board and voilą! Though that in itself was a bit of a faff as had to take the board out etc.

George the cat kept me company as he watched from his box.
