Finished the R50 off at the weekend. It's taken me ages - encountered one problem after another - that's the problem with a 10 year old car I guess. A lot of damaged parts on it from where it had been in a bit of a bump at some point in its life so I've replaced all that. Replaced the entire MFE panel as that was in bits held together with cable ties!
So I've fitted
R53 6 speed gearbox, drive shafts and starter motor, clutch slave cylinder, shift cables, shifter lug, my own solid shifter lug bushes, my own custom stainless gear knob;
Valeo single mass conversion flywheel and clutch;
Powerflex front ARB bushes (22.5mm Cooper bar);
Superpro front wishbone rear bushes;
OMP lower front brace;
R53 GP shocks with H&R 30mm lowering springs;
R56 alloy rear trailing arms;
17mm rear ARB (from a Cooper S, original was, 16mm);
Superpro rear ARB bushes;
Powerflex engine and gearbox mount bushes;
GTT (Janspeed) exhaust manifold with OEM catalytic converter.
Think that's it.
Going to fit my Eibach adjustable control arms as I have like 7 degrees of negative camber at the rear now lol.
