Default Mini Newbie - Cooper D JCW - 9th November 2014, 06:25 PM

Evening all.

I've posted a few times on here before buying asking advice, etc.

Anyway, on Friday evening, I picked up a Mini Cooper D with full JCW kit. Well chuffed with it, it's a brilliant drive, looks fantastic and ticks all the boxes. Anyway, a picture speaks a thousand words, so here are a few!

Plans... De-chrome all the lights, window lines and rear boot panel to gloss black. I'm also considering coilovers and some new wheels but for now, I'll enjoy her as she is

Thanks guys.

Yeh, debadging is on the list and I accidentally found the DRL fogs on eBay today and they're definitely the next mod. I promised myself I wouldn't mod until next year though! Ha!

As Webbiano says, lightning blue is definitely the best!

Few additions...

Full interior LED lights

Also gave her the Joey treatment with some black vinyl wrap and managed to do the petrol cap and boot lid thing

Next thing on the list is lowering but as I'm moving this month, that'll likely be off the agenda for a while. Considering springs instead of coilovers as a temporary fix but unsure on whether it's worth the hassle

Don't waste your money on springs. There's AP coilovers for decent price entry level setup to get you going, speak to lohen or orrranje if he is well enough.

You can also get BC coilovers and Meisters for 0% interest free if you want to increase the budget a bit.

Happy motoring
