Total confusion on all this, my supplying dealer even said the new Countryman SE Hybrid is also facing a pause in production (together with most BMW Hybrids) which this article confirms:

BMW slashes model range amid WLTP fears

At this rate I’m wondering what can be factory ordered for the European markets!

On mini Ireland the configurater still works for all jcws, went on bmw and there English one has a few no noes, was told you wouldn’t get a new one built to spec for at least 18 months and high spec low mileage ones will be good to sell in about 6 months time and later if new ones lose the fun factor or do not reappear, nobody knows what is happening

just being thinking, when we thought of car last October and car configurator wouldn't work on jcw countryman and said it didn't exist and phoned dealers all over the country and mini to see what was happening and all said production would not be stopping as it was new model, less than six months later it has stopped, seams as all the dealers and mini lied to us just to get us to part wit £40000,may explain why it was built so quickly and why it was rushed out of the garage with such a poor pdi and paint finish, wish we had bought it on finance and not paid cash!

Iíve been given the opposite advice on the SD ALL4 with particular dealer saying production was ending and to get in my order quick, I declined and three months on itís still in production and no sign of ending. Iím still receiving calls from a number of dealers saying there are a lot of built new MINIs sitting around and finance deals have dropped to 2.9% APR to get rid of them. BMW are in the same position and surprisingly offering 0% APR deals on 5/6/7/X5/X6 series to clear stock. The next twelve months will be interesting to see what will be offered within the MINI range when the production pause ends.

Thanks for the heads up on the configurator, it still allows you to build a JCW when knowing the production has been paused.

Great news, maybe this will be the first car I don`t lose a fortune on.

Cheers,
