I'm thinking of changing my tyres, they are legal and have life in them but I do not want a minor note on my next MOT! I want a clear pass no advisories or anything lol

Good plan. I find Asda Tyres (yep the supermarket!) offer the lowest price on fitting tyres:

https://m.asdatyres.co.uk

I don’t do it with them but I take their price and ask my local MINI dealer to match which they are happy to do.

Oh good idea I'm surprised they match it

What tyres do you go for? As MINI won't have all the brands in stock ?

The Asda website will show all the tyres designed for BMWs and itís these tyres they readily stock (Continental, Dunlop, GoodYear, Hankook, Pirelli). On one occasion I bought by own brand new set of Goodyears off eBay and Cotswold MINI Cheltenham were happy to fit that set.

But Cotswold are the best dealer in the country so I'm not surprised. I don't think local ones to me would do that, if they do it would be £££

Still not as tough as a Northern Ireland MOT.

I haven't got round to using bimmercode to remove the dash bulb out warning on my F56 yet
need to buy it.

So it's still showing warning on the dash and MOT is on Friday.

The lights work perfect it's just a bulb out triangle on the dash... with the new MOT uk rules will it fail it's MOT?

Under the old rules, as long as the lights worked they would only note the warning light in the advisory. But under the new rules it will be a fail....

https://conversation.which.co.uk/mot...ts-car-safety/

Can you swap around with the old lights to pass the test?
