Default Cannot engage sport or Green mode - 28th March 2017, 01:29 PM

Hello all. New user looking for some advice please.

I've recently bought my wife a cracking little Mini Cooper D with many toys. One of which is the Sport / Green mode which doesn't seem to work.

The car is fitted with the Chilli Pack XL so i do believe it should work and according to the original spec sheet this is all present and correct.

I can go through the "Driving Excitement" menu and it goes through all of it's check,s confirms that sport is not activated than tells me to activate it. But when i rotate the switch either way nothing happens.

According to google etc. i should get a visual confirmation that the car has switched modes?

Thanks!

David.

How do you mean? My assumption is that when i move the switch it should confirm either way?

It will go through it's checks, confirm that Sport mode is OFF then ask me to engage sport mode. But when i do that nothing happens.

you dont have to go into any menus to activate sport or green

just use the slip ring, and it should pop up and it says on the speedo above the steering wheel.

if nothing appears.. you will defo know what mode your in just by driving it..

Isn't there a setting that turns driving experience notifications on? Like all settings in the car, heaters etc....

MINI Driving Modes doesn't come with the Media Pack XL. It will come with the Chili Pack, JCW Chili Pack or as a stand alone option.

You have a switch like this around the bottom of your gearstick?
