Scotland Forbes' 2004 Mini Cooper - First Post in 1st Gen Cooper

Here is a nice short post
Well bought it in Greenock at end of summer last year. Its a Cooper with the Chilli pack. Fair setup up from the bottom of the range 1.4 Golf i had before it, and that was a step up from my first car ( a Subaru Justy )
Came with clear tail and side lights from the dealer

As you can see the car was fairly dirty at this point

Put my plate on just before xmas
Then 17" Zito 168 alloys in Feb
So the car now looks like this

Got the arch lights and halo rings put in at NewMiniStuff. And also got EBC Greenstuff brake pads put on at the front.

Was at the Perth car show on the 18/8 so a few select photos from it. Was there with AberdeenCruising.com. I was also the only New Mini at the show so was trying to represent New Minis

And one while i was at work a couple of days ago

I hate Karma!
Put up a wanted add about steelies yeasterday. This happens today about 5 mins after leaving my house.
To be honest with the state of Aberdeens roads with all the pot holes it was a matter of time. Along North Deeside road they spray painted all the potholes months ago, done jack **** to repair them. And happened to two other friends in the last 3 months.
So the car now looks amazing

All phone pics
Got my Aero rear bumper put on finally just before i went on Holdiday in December. American spec so still have the arch lights, and also got the inserts painted black. Should also be signing up for club manky... Still got a few more things to do before i go back to Uni at the start of Feb so heres hoping

New alloys, given them a blast with a power washer but still need a good clean
Wasn't 100% sure if they would suit the car but i think they do

Played around with my lights a bit more over the last day.

Sadly got a few air bubbles but they are meant to sort themselves out. A few people said keep the clear ones... but i fancied a change
So the Clear, normal or these ones?

The clear ones are back in. Waiting for some bulbs from Mikey before the Cherry Reds go back on again

Me and a mate went out last night taking a few photos. He was trying to teach me how to make the most of my camera. I am trying to get better at the old photography, but anyway here are the 2 decent (imo) pictures that worked.
And yes i need to clean the car and engine

Car should be getting a nice little sound system put in in May, got a couple of shows and runs again this year.
Collecting a few bits and pieces so will update again soon.

Very nice, would be even better with an aero front bumper and side skirts though
