2 Years and a couple of changes.

I bought my 3rd MINI in December 07, an August 06 Cooper S with 12.5K miles on it and a nice spec. JCW alcantra Sparcos, steering wheel, Panaromic sunroof, Harmon Kardon sound system and a few other nice touches.

From buying the Cooper S I've done a bit of modifing to it with JCW spoiler, aerokit, JCW brakes with Goodridge SS hoses, Eibach springs, braces, engine work and 18" Rota Subzeros plus a few other bits.

In the last couple of weeks I've slightly change the look of it with removing the black bonnet stripes and buying a set of 17" R112 alloy, off the factory R56 JCW with a Toyo Proxy T1Rs.

The R112's arrived last Monday which give me the chance to give the alloys two coats of poorboys wheel sealant and two coats of Collinte 476s before the tyres came in on Friday. And the wheels were fitted yesterday.

Although I still very much like the Rota's, the polished lip was a nightmare keep with 35 series tyres, plus the 17"s with non runflat tyres have improved the ride quality alot. I still might keep the Rota's for a change during the summer.

I ordered graphics from Mini Pirate last week. I was sickened yesterday when I saw a black Cooper in Portadown with the same graphics but in a different colour. I thought I was going to be unique with these graphics in the UK and Ireland as I found it on a MINI forum in America.
