Default Doors? - 21st April 2017, 07:49 AM

I need to replace the drivers door after and incident with my mother driving my 2010 diesel mini. I've found a replacement door, but it's from a 2004 model. I know the engine changed, but the door looks reasonable the same. Are they the same doors? Can I replace them like for like? Any help appreciated!

No I don't think so. I think all body panels are different between the R50 and R56 models.

My Brother sustained the same 'creased' damage on his BMW thanks to a careless bus driver. But the bodyshop were able to repair it rather than replace the door. Worth investigating the repair rather than replace route.
