Default Cruise Control has stopped working. Help request. - 26th November 2017, 06:53 PM

Hi Guys,
My cruise control has stopped working.
I press the button and nothing happens.
I get no light on the dash and it won't hold speed.
I think it might have blown a fuse, but I have no idea where the fuse is.
Can anyone help me please.
Regards,
Paul

The only time this has happened to my MINI it was due a service for replacement rear brakes, there was nothing wrong with the discs or pads but as soon as the service went overdue it stopped the cruise control from working - strange but I guess it makes sense to MINI and it did make me reset the service interval (I was just being lazy as I knew they didn't need doing).

Assuming there are no warnings or anything on the dash it could be a fuse which would be easy enough to check or something more major - an OBD read would show any faults.

It's weird you should say about the brakes/service I had exactly that situation before it stopped working (thought it must be a coincidence).

I've just had my brakes done and a service Service and brake warning lights are now out, but cruise still isn't working.

I would check the fuse, but I've no idea where it is.

Regards,

Paul
