If you need to question whether a cabrio is too unmanly for you, the issues may be with your own lack of sexual confidence rather than choice of car
![]() been a convertible driver for years, laugh off the hairdresser/gay/girl car comments - to worry about them is EXTREMELY unmanly lol Good luck finding your car!

Well put I think Paul
![]() I'm just tooooo tempted by a MINI convertible right now. I'm trying to think of a plan to get my mum to change the Cooper for a supercharged S cabby but it's just never going to happen! Maybe we would settle for a Cooper cab with a few toys? ![]() Or I find out how much to upgrade Shadow to a JCW cab?

JCW upgrade will not cause any hair problems
However...... there could possibly be some underwear issues but just have to go easy with the right pedal

I too am constantly toying with the idea of selling my MX-5 and Cooper S and getting and R57 MCS, but it's a lot of money when I already have two nice cars! Mmm - Mini Aquisition Syndrome!

Ooooo, this feeling has come back to me now, especially after the weekend, being behind Anand's fab R57 Works :-)
Just been past Williams MINI in Manchester, and there are a couple of tasty looking PW R57 Coopers in there.... and a quick swap of my Aero kit on to either of them would make it look really ![]()

I would love to swap my S for a cabrio, sadly the wife will not have a cabby with a "crappy flappy roof" (hates them), and as it's her primary car.......

Since this thread started I have had an R57 S and an R52 S - both were fab in their own ways, but in teh winter they do feel a bit claustrophobic as it is so dark with roof up. I would def go back to an R57 S again though... and probably will, knowing me!
