92?! No wonder v-power gives you a power increase!

I'll run a few tanks over the next 2weeks of Tesco super and see how my mpg changes. Then I'll try a couple of tanks of bp ultimate to see if I can see any difference.

ive been told that you shouldnt fill up at super market petrol stations because they use poorer quality fuel so they can sell it cheeper, is that true, because i get 5p off a litre at Tesco's every now and again and considered filling up with the premium fuel to see if it improved performance but was put off by what i was told about super markets

I am now on my third tank full of V-Power since I came across this thread and decided to make the change, myself. It was £1.16 when I put the first tank full in three weeks ago, and now £1.21 which is frightful.

My MINI (a 57 reg Cooper S Works) seems to love the V-Power. The car sounds better, the throttle feels better, and the MPG is better (increased by 3-4 MPG). So no going back to the ordinary ASDA petrol I was using before. I would have made the change a long time ago, had I known how much better the V Power is. I also want to give the Tesco 99RON a go soon, to see what all the fuss is about.

Where on earth are you filling up? I rarely look at the price, but I'm sure it is around £1.12 here, plus the more points you collect the more discount vouchers you get!
