new engine anyone test drove it

do any dealers have a cooper s with the updated engine, has anyone test drove one, I know its only 9hp but still might be able to tell

They are only starting the new engine from march production so you will only start seeing them being delivered and registered mid march. So no demo's yet! Ours is only coming late march

Ordered our Cooper S 31st Jan, specified the new engine, told delivery would be mid March. We got the call on Tuesday 2nd March it was in transit to the dealer. Picked up on Friday, don't know how it compares with the old engine, its our first Mini, but we are very pleased with it so far. More power, faster, improved MPG and lower CO2 (falls into £120 road tax), its too good to be true.
