on a first gen,is it easy to change the door check strap?. (the middle door bar inbetween the top and bottom hinges.
As mine is noisy on my wifes MCS and grease and oil wont shut it up... Any advise, easy to fit ? tips ? etc.... thanks |

Oh check this thread for information too, though he is fitting facelift parts to a pre-facelift vehicle so you would not have to do any cutting etc.
Door check straps, anyone changed them? |

Did mine today, like for like old style straps.
Takes about 10 minutes per side and they cost £30 each from the dealers. The doors have a quality feel again now rather than a crunchy knackered feel
