If we could have some sun again, that'd be cool.

It's Lightening Blue with Satellite Grey Lounge Leather and a whole host of options. It's safe to say I'm over the moon with it and 12000 miles in it paints a massive grin on my face on a daily basis.

Here's some arty shots of it:

As for future plans, I'm definitely getting a GP diffuser for it and a Challenge exhaust is on the cards too. I'm happy with the understated look of the car but may well look into some subtle bonnet stripes. That's only a maybe though.
Has anyone ever seen a facelift n18 Jcw in the same blue ?

I'm hoping some come to market soon, all I've seen are the lighter and darker blues, or coupes

The same design Roadster was around from 2012 until production ended in 2015 so no facelift unfortunately. The only change was the introduction of LED daytime running lights in 2014, I haven't seen many JCWs in this lightning blue colour though.

Original jcw roadsters and coupes came with the old n14 motor,
But the s was running the newer n18, from the start

I'm using the words "face lift" in the wrong context perhaps, but the newer Jcw have the n18 which is the one I want, quite a fundamental change if I don't want to be de-coking every couple of years

This will help from another post,

Difference Between The New R56 FJCW Engine & The Old

It was introduced in September 2012. It's a shame they have stopped making the Roadsters, we thought about trading our Roadster Cooper SD for a new convertible after a test drive we prefer the driving style of our Roadster.
