Default Multimedia system - 15th August 2016, 05:10 PM

I have a really bothering problem lately the Multimedia system does not remember the cellphone connection (Bluetooth).
Each time I switch on the car I have to search again for the phone Bluetooth connection and to set my phone as a new device, the system simply erases it every time.
On the phone settings, I do see my car as a possible connection, but once I try to connect to it, the connection fails.
Does it happen to one of you? Does anyone knows what to do in this situation?
Does anyone know how to return to default manufacturer settings or to reset the system?
I refer to the old multimedia addition: JCW 2013 r6.

My understanding is a battery pull. Leave for 15/20min and reconnect.

Yes I'd try leaving the negative off for a few hours or overnight if poss.

If that doesn't work, update the software on the multimedia system it is a very quick process unlike updating the sat nav!

R60 Cooper S auto, Pure red, chilli, media and light packs..SOLD

F60 Cooper S All4 auto. Thunder grey with a lot of gloss black and very little chrome. Chilli, Media, Tech, XL, LEDs, pano roof, black 19s, black leather, black stripes, black roof, black rails (I like black)....pretty much all options ticked - already regret the ones that are missing.

Mine takes a couple of minutes to auto connect, it's certainly not as quick as other cars. I only have two phones set up for a Bluetooth connection. Fingers crossed that disconnecting the battery helps 👍🏻
