Default satnav display - 8th February 2017, 12:42 PM

Does anyone know of a good company near Bristol (pref Southwest) that can replace the satnav screen.

Mines broke. The rest of the unit is fine but the screen is cracked and doesn't display anything. 9other than 1/10th of the screen on the right hand side that's too small to see anything on.

I would imagine you probably have to get the complete unit.

Yeah i'm thinking about picking up a second hand unit and fitting it myself at the moment. Then just paying for the reprogramming.

Ridiculous as at most its a 50 screen. Somethings gotta be done about car manufacturers coding and locking everything to a particular car. Its such a blatant cash grab and must be making life hard for indi garages.

I have a spare screen. I purchased the whole media speedo and screen just for the JCW dark speedo ring. I couldn't find anyone who did different colour speedo rings at the time.

I have never tried the screen but all the same, make me an offer if you're interested

can you send me some pics and give me an idea what you want for it?

I was hoping to spend 150 quid but don't know how realistic that is at the moment
