Default Exterior Lights Warning - 1st December 2013, 05:02 PM

I have just had an exterior light warning come up yet all my lights are working?..?

Anyone else had this? What could it be?

Bit of thread hijacking here, but .... have you changed any of your bulbs e.g. for led's or anything? There might be an incompatibility that is sending a fault back.

I have had the LEDs for my front sidelights from mikes since the big mini show...

Sorry for the hijack..

Might be what it is. On our previous MCS our LED side lights would throw a fault once in a blue moon, for some reason. I just ignored it as it would go away. Have transferred the same LEDs into the current MCS and it has been ok.

Trust you have checked the rear number plate bulbs .... It's not always that obvious if one of those has gone

I used to get this on my MCS with my LED side light replacement bulbs and it would go away after a few seconds.

Check your reverse light? Bugged me for a couple weeks and found out they were the culprit

You can pull the code for which light is defective from using the stalk button / rev counter display

Mine did this as well with led side lights in

I just swapped them for a new set off eBay and not had a problem since
