Default Warning display confusing me - 8th March 2014, 05:22 PM

I have an 08 clubman and today I got a warning showing a letter P with 3 or 4 lines to the right of it. I just noticed my led sidelight and my rear light passenger side were on despite the doors all being shut and the car locked. I always leave them set to auto. As soon as I turned them to off it seemed to turn them off.
Can't find anything on google, anyone got any ideas??

Does your car manual not give you an explanation on it??

Just read my owners handbook it seems you have your parking lights selected. Indicator selected to left as its the passenger side. Leaving it selected to auto without cancelling the indicators could be a cause??

Think ive worked it out! Did you use your left '3 flash' indicator, (not pushing the stalk through the pressure point which keeps the indicator flashing until you have turned your steering wheel back) before you parked up? If you did you need to use the right '3 flash' to turn the lights off in the future.

Sounds like it's just the parking light, you probably knocked the indicator stalk when you were getting out or something
