Default Rear wheel trim come away. How to fix? - 8th September 2013, 04:12 PM

Hi guys

As the title say the rear trim on the drivers side came off.

When I investigated why I noticed a black clip was mastic on.

I'm sure I need a clip that connects to the plastic trip and fits in the hole in the actual bodywork.

But the holes seem to be different. Checking in eBay I have found black round clips and also some grey clips but they have bits of plaits stick off them.

Which one do I need?

Here are the clips in question

And

Thanks
Rick

If you cant fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical fault

you'll need the first ones

the only way to replace the clips is to remove the whole trim piece

just give it a pull

the clips are designed to break when they come off so you'll need enough to replace them so 10 would be more than enough

I am assuming you have an R56?

Check out this site: RealOEM.com Diagram Selection and you should discover which are the correct clips you need. You might need to navigate around the sub-groups a bit ....
