Default Boot handle replacement help - 8th January 2016, 02:32 PM

Basically I swapped out the standard number plate bulbs for LED ones but in doing so and being all fingers and thumbs managed to snap pieces of plastic on the boot handle.

Now of course the little plastic covers for the lights won't stay in

So if anybody knows what the part is for that piece of plastic trim and how easy it is to replace plus cost I would be very grateful for the information.

many thanks!

The bad news is that the handle, item 5 below, is all one piece with the lights and costs about 100.

Link to parts page

And I hope your handle isn't painted, as that would be 100 before painting....

Yep, I did that. I should have looked in the hand book for guidance how to remove them. I levered instead of sliding. Managed to superglue lugs back on to handle. That was a couple of years ago.
