Default Black trim - 18th August 2015, 06:04 PM

What's the best stuff to clean/restore the black trim around the wheel arches.
Tried various things, but either washes off with the rain and leaves streaks or fades to a dirty grey colour.
Thanks.

Gtechniq C4, it requires a lot of prep to get the trim totally clean, but once applied it lasts for a year or two.

Of all the simple ones to use - eg, gel type products that you simply work into the trim, Black Wow is probably your best bet. For a more permenant solution, you need to be looking towards Gtechniq C4 or CarPro DLUX - both will last much longer but are a little more work to apply. CarPro DLUX needs to be applied to extremely clean trim, and kept dry for 24hrs after application to ensure the best results..

As with most things detailing related - prep is key to having any product work well! Make sure you give the trims a good clean before applying any type of dressing.

Not currently - do you mean the really thin ones that are handy for down the side of seats etc? If so, i'm hoping some arrive in time for the Big Mini Show.

YES! Was hoping for one of those. May also invest in a nice little machine polisher in the near future.. SO if you wanted to put together a great starter pack deal for December...
