The saga's of Ethel (x-reg sports pack)
Its time to start a thread about Ethel,my x-reg John cooper s-works mpi classic, the things that are happening to her.
Her main problem since I got her in Sept has been her heater . I now think i've got to the bottom of the problem, which is an incorrect adjustment of the heater cable, so the valve is slightly open all the time. She is also currently leaking oil , which as far as I can tell is from the gear linkage ( damn those speed bumps). ![]() Also her wheel alignmentis a bit out with regards to the steering wheel position. So hopefully i'm taking her to a new garage on Weds to get these things sorted and a sump guard fitted...... watch this space.....
