In no special order really

Mini 1100 Special. My friends piano teacher had one when I was a kid. It was the first Mini I drooled over.

(Photo found on Flickr)

One of classiest Minis around the Paul Smith LE

And my will have one day Mini, an original Mini Sprint. Easier to find than most think being as it's creator has just started building them again in his French barn I'm sure I can get all 6ft of me in there even if my head is on the ceiling of a standard Mini

And of course I'm very biased towards the loud and lairy Mini 'Tartan' Sidewalk.

A few shots of my Sidewalk who's paintwork is soon to be more original. What idiot painted the roof white? And why use paint for the stripes?

My most favourite LE's have to be the Paul smith and the 500 but the 35le in Almond green is definately a contender

luckily ive got a smiffy and the mo and used to own a 500 (which i had to sell for my house deposit, the lad who bought has subsequently crashed it i dont find out it was a 500 until the insurance company checked the engine numbers and chassis numbers aswell gutted)

My favourite LE Mini was the Mini 20th Anniversary 1100 Special in 1979......I remember staring at a brand new one in the showroom window of my local BL Dealer, amazed that you could now buy a Mini with wide alloy wheels and arches as standard!

Some of the LE brochures as pdf's here:
