You're always welcome mate

But I need to get that drivers seat fixed first, or you might split the leather

I find rolling restorations not great on classics, if your doing A panels then give the scuttle a very good inspection, I have seen loads of wing replacements only to have them off again later on.
Maybe I should bring him to you for a visit then Dave

Nice Paul Smith there.

It would have been a local car to me when new with DFS as the reg.
What supplying dealer was it, could have been Appleyard, AF Noble, JB Scott, Abercromby

I have a 2000 X Cooper classic that came from AF Noble and went back there every 6 months for a service until I got it last year off of the elderly lady.

Great looking Mini Rakey

The hard work will be rewarding when finished and will look the business

I'll need to keep an eye open for it when visiting our friends in Wilts

Huh, it failed the mot on immissions when it was just 3 years old too! that was partly why I had the engine rebuilt! Glad its sorted now

What happened to all the badges off it?

Nearly purchased one of those jap paul smith imports but may save up and get a low miliage one to sit in the garage and go out on sunny days

Look forward to seeing this project!

Quite sure I have photos of the holes in the floors, 4 years old and needed inner sill work and front panel.

It started life for a Dr in London then went to me in the Midlands, then off to oxford then ... Rakey

here it was in perfect condition not 1 spot of rust on the little fella
