Cool The Last Ever South Downs Weekender 17th - 19th July 2009

The South Downs Weekender 6 - The Last Ever

Ok well this year we have decided to go back to basics....well almost.
Every year I try to change something to make it different but I have realised that everyone is excited just to come along.
So this year I have drafted in my trusty Catering staff (Carla and Mark) to do the sarnies for lunch on sat and the BBQ on sat night
I have also decided to stay at teh same campsite as the other local campsites ar just not as easy to get to, big enough or as willing to let us do what we want.

Camping.
The campsite can be found in Chichester just off the A27, we have used this campsite for 4 years now and is very easy to find, a very nice site and perfect for us as there is plenty of room
Below is the address, phone no. and website. You can book by phone or by popping in and seeing them. The Campsite is £20 per Tent Max. 4 people, so the more you can get in your tent the better

Vinnetrow road, Chichester, West sussex, PO20 1QH
Tel-01243787715
Park Holidays Chichester website

Hotel.
The Hotel will be the Premier Travel Inn in Chichster ( For those who refuse to Camp )
Premier Travel Inn Website

Thursday.
I will be arriving on the thursday night with Jon and probably me going to the karoke in the Campsite bar, those who wish to join us...can as long as they sing.

Friday.
The first night offical we will be bbq night, you are in charge of your own food and your own bbq, we will more than likely club together for some disposable bbq's, then everyone can get their own food and do as they please.

Saturday - The Run.
We will be meeting for the run at 10.00 onwards at the Goodwood Motor Circuit and will start the run at 11am.

The Run will take us around the Southdowns and as usual will be kept short and sweet. We will be finishing at a pub called The Walnut Tree, where you can have a bit to eat and drink. It is just up the raod form the Campsite so not far to go afterwards.

Saturday Night.
When we get back from the run which will be around 3pm everybody can just chill out by going for a walk around the lake, or into town or play a few games at the campsite in the sun ( hopefully this year ). While your having fun me and the south downs crew will be preparing the nights feast. Then we will have a few drinks and enjoy the BBQ.
The BBQ will be the prepared by the Carla and her team and we will be charging £6 for the food. I will be PMing everyone nearer the time.
All as you need is to bring is drink

Did anyone get any new MU flags for the campsite this year?

Or maybe a deck chair or two?
