Walnut can look good when applied correctly and tastefully - I never used to like it in all honesty, but I have since begun to come round to it

I have to disagree with you though Jo, the black plastic would look good with a piano black dash as it would all match, better then the tacky silver we have!
Thats where its all down to personal taste, I don't like the piano black trim in a MINI coz of the finger prints and its dull to me, so prefer my Silver.

Having a MINI is great, you can make it what you want, and then the next person can come along and change it to what they want etc.

I guess if the trim is Walnut as said, then it may work with the rest of the trim in the car as its not as harsh as black. Either way, someone will come along and pay the £££ for the workmanship thats gone into it, and good on 'em if thats what they want!

Too right there.

I agree with you on the fingerprints thing, however I don't like the door elipsoids standing out hence if I were to get an s/JCW I'd get the piano black!!

I guess I kinda like the new black because it is different, and because of my vendetta against silver/chrome!

I like the interior barring the walnut... is it real walnut or Rover 600 Walnut?

I really don't like those wheels with the exterior colour... I'd personally put black\silver R113 18" JCW alloys on it to blend it all in a little better.

Any ideas if the shiny black steering wheel inserts\centre console will become available as parts from dealers? I really like the black stereo buttons etc!
