Outside is horrible (does anyone like the factory aero kit?). Is that the "Ming Blue" motoringfile said would be on the RR edition? Inside is lush but too biege! Love the speedo though, but no nav at that price?

Even I, with my severe options fetish, am not going to pay £44k for a MINI. Porsche Cayman S money!

This is one for the obscenely rich who wander into Park Lane to buy a "runabout" and buy what's in the showroom, hence why their showroom models are specced to insane levels.

I am really uncertain about the whole car. The exterior colour is nice, although a mental block has to be put on the kit as IMO it spoils it.

On the other hand I can appreciate the workmanship that has gone into the exterior but it is just far to beige! Some of that walnut should be around the door panel, even if only to break the beige up!

£44,000 means you're paying for the work and the materials I think, not the extras and equipment...since they seem a bit thin on the ground.

Looks like they're not RR MINIs after all...

Your first post said that according to the dealer they "apparently" have 3 X JCW 50 models in their showroom. Which sounded to me like you had been told this by your dealer, but you were even sceptical (hence the "apparently" in your first post).

Turns out though they never told you they were WC50 models anyway, that was your assumption. So we, going only on your word, got the impression the dealer had lied, when in fact you had just made an incorrect assumption and passed it on as though fact. Which you later corrected with your direct quote posted above.

No big deal, no need to get so wound up. You made an assumption, people took your word as gospel and assumed the dealer was telling a whopper...

So you made an assumption, we made assumptions... and now it's all cleared up, so it seems, so no need to get upset, mistakes happen.
Nice but very anal breakdown! Are you a taxman by any chance?
