The wheel was my first mod when I was single and care free, oh, and my outgoings were a lot less than now!! So was all new from the dealer. Moley seems to have managed to get both parts for about £100 second hand I think, so it's just a case of keeping your eye's peeled!

The one Im looking at is the CAI one off Lohen. According to Mikey, it sucks air from the hole that we have above the radiator above the grill

What does the plugs do? Ive heard good things about the panel filters too!

I have heard that you have to be careful with induction kits in coopers as the position of the cone that sucks in the air means it's sucking in hot air, therefore reduces performance! Not sure if you can get them that work in the same way as a stock one with it sucking the air in through a tube attached to the back of the grille therefore sucking in cold air. You'll have to look into it. Personaly I think the PlayMini is a good place to start. I'm just going to add a nice panel filter, iridium plugs and new leads to finish it off nicely

This is a bit more raspy than in real life. From the outside it's a lovely deep burble, not raspy or boy racerish. Inside all closed up not really much difference but outside people have commented it sounds nice.

Was £220, is a bit more now about £235 I think. Fitting was £50, just try your local exhaust place. I got it direct from PlayMini. Think MINI sell them too I think. I haven't got the front silencer, and glad I didn't. It's more expensive and would reduce the sound.
