Welcome back to totalMINI!
It's really good to be back, we're only sorry it took so long! We have been encouraged by the support many of you have shown through Facebook, other MINI/Mini forums, and in person at meets 
To update those of you who haven't seen our posts on Facebook, the server that the totalMINI site is hosted on suffered catastrophic data loss and, due to reasons outside of our control, the hosting provider could not provide a recent backup.
We were hoping to restore an old copy of the site, however this was not possible due to further issues with the database export that we had access to. The root failure was with our hosting provider for not providing a resilient infrastructure and not taking any backups of our data, which we weren't aware of. In hindsight, we should have taken additional responsibility for that as well – our members can be assured this lesson has been learned and will not be allowed to happen again.
So, we have a clean start, a slightly fresher look (more updates will hopefully follow) and a chance for the MINI/Mini community to share all that wonderful knowledge, and those friendships, experiences, and mutual love of all things MINI & mini.
There are a number of jobs still to do on the site itself, but we wanted to get the forum back up as soon as we could, and work on the tweaks when we get chance to. We all do this in our spare time (when we have any), so please bear with us if things don’t get done as quickly as you would like.
Now it's over to you to register, build up the valuable database again and make the forum as successful as it was for its first four years. A big thank you in advance for sticking with us
